Established in 2003 following the Lagos State Council reforms, Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA was carved out of Alimosho Local Government. The LCDA brings together over 54 towns and villages — led by a strong heritage of community, governance, and progress.

…As Deputy Inspector-General of Police Visits on Tuesday, October 27, 2026
The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun, will on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, host the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Supervising DIG, South-West Zone, DIG Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha, mni, on an official visit.
The visit aims to strengthen community policing, enhance security collaboration and explore the use of ICT to improve security across Ayobo-Ipaja and Lagos State.
The Chairman described the visit as a significant milestone in his administration’s commitment to security under the Ìjọba Ìròrùn agenda and called on residents and security stakeholders to join in welcoming the distinguished police chief.
